BEST GIFTS ARE NOT MATERIAL THINGS

I was once asked if given all the resources and means to buy for the best birthday gift for myself, what would that be? I didn’t need to think deep and in an instant answered that lasting friendships and harmonious relationship with my family is the best gift one can ever receive, not the material things that vanishes through time but things that are intangible and you cannot put a price tag. I can probably list down a hundred of material things that I want to have but at the end of the day, these things will have no value if you have people that love you for who you are.
